CHESTNUTS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Trip to the Natural History Museum

Date: 27th Nov 2017 @ 8:08am

Last week, year six visited the Natural History Museum as part of our science topic on classifcation. We visited the Investigation Centre, where we had to work scientifically to examine and group different natural specimens together, such as bones, shells, fossils and minerals. We used scales, microscopes and other scientific equipment  to investigate our objects.

We also visited several galleries in the museum to look at how the living creatures were classified according to the Linneaus System.
